Intermediate Hand Building Course (Level 2)

This course expects a pre-existing fundamental skill set in handbuilding (gained through our Level 1 Handbuilding Course OR through outside development)

This course is not for beginners and clay experience is required.

Course Layout

Week 1: Sketching forms, building to scale, exploring mark making in clay

Week 2: Design and plan projects, concept development, begin building

Week 3: Project building continued

Week 4: Project building continued

We will bring you into our studio four times throughout the course, each time for a 2.5 hours hands-on class. All clay, first firing costs, tools and materials are included in the price.

What you will need to bring:Art Journal or Notepad for drawing/recording

Glazing is not included.
First firing inclusion covers up to 2 larger items (or a smaller selection)

Your items will be available for collection or to glaze from 2 weeks after your last session.
